Miss Labree and Miss Spencer have been employed to teach the public school in District No. 2 in this city. The school will open on next Monday.

Work on the power house of the electric light plant is progressing. The window frames are now being set in place. Some private residences are being wired while waiting for the poles which will be set up next week.

E. O. Bowsher of Hastings was in town during the week looking over the field with a view to starting a bowling alley on one of the down town streets. If Mr. Bowsher concludes to locate here, he will put in a first-class alley and conduct that business exclusively.

Monroe Kopisca has re-purchased the auto livery business that he sold to Emmet Doyle in June and will in future conduct his livery from and in connection with the oil station operated by him at Fourth and Fuller streets. The former livery barn on First street will be used by A. H. Philipp & Son for storage purposes.

Post Office To Move On Monday
The Shakopee post office will be moved to new quarters next week, it was announced late Wednesday by Cormac Suel, postmaster.
The new location for the sending, receiving and dissemination of mail and packages will be at 131 Fuller street. Plans call for the post office to be open for business on Monday at that address.
